Mining Guide

It's time to grab your pickaxe and hit the mines! Mining is one of the most tactical and consistent ways to earn some decent money in prison. While it can be a bit overwhelming at the beginning, once you get a hang of it, you can earn a lot of money.

Mining is all about efficiency. One can mine one block at the time but this won't give you much money. The ways to improve your efficiëncy are eighter: Haste (mine blocks faster), Explotions (more blocks at the time), Sellboosts (sell your blocks for more money) or Upgrades (the higher blocks you have, the more profit you make). This guide gives a guideline to do all of that but please be creative and test your own strats

Mining Boosts

	Mining Boost Pass	Doubles all the mining drops for 10 minutes for every player
	Farquad's Coin	Change to get 1% - 100% double drops for mining. Use another one to reroll the %.
	Spirit Splooge	Singe use for a random sellboost between -100% and +300%
	Rumplestiltskin's Pickaxe	Mine gold to get gold boost. Use other pick axes and receive more gold, And 25% chance for 2x drops during gold boost.
	Rumplestiltskin's Golden Pickaxe	Mine any block to get a +50% mining boost.
	Mermaid Tail	When you catch a hidefish your next catch is instant.catching a hastefish gives a personal mining boost for 5 minutes (this does not stack with a normal mining boost)
	Ariel Tail	When you catch a hidefish your next 2 catches are instant and also double. Gives a personal mining boost for 20 minutes (this does not stack with a normal mining boost)

	Prestige Perks	There is a sell multiplier available at /pshopthat grants you premanent haste
	Haste Eggs	Duration: 120 seconds - Unstackable
	Haste Fish	Duration: 600 seconds (= 10 minutes)

How can you improve your sellboost?

	Prestige Perks	There is a sell multiplier available at /pshopthat gives you +4% more money from selling resources (and drugs)
	Skills	There is a mining skill at /skillsthat gives you +2% double drops per level. The more blocks you mined the higher level you get.
	Red Velvet Cake	Sell for -25% - 150% more. Spawn a "RedVelvetCake" Zombie
	Ariel Hair	Has a small chance to get 5xp instead of 2 compared to Mermaid Hair, 2.5 times fish duration, and a +75% sellboost.

The Goofball strategy - By Piky

Important notes: Ghost Plasm's netherquartz chance has a 70% for gold to transmute, 40% for copper and I think emerald as well. Ghost Plasm has a 10 minute CD. The radius is 25x5x25. For Big Bad Wolf Pickaxes, if there is a full moon in either of the three primary dimensions (regular world, outside world, and prestige world), you can go there, update the pickaxe, and never move it from your hotbar. In turn, the pickaxe will perpetually stay in its maxed out state; efficiency 8 and fortune 8 for the ultra legendary version.

Simplified: Utilizing Ghost Plasm in order to create 25x5x25 flat cube worth of netherquartz with the most optimal strategy of creating or having an event (or rarely admin interactions) of gold to transmute into, while intentionally or unintentionally goofing off and making mistakes, but for the sake of fun and silliness.

Complicated: By using a variety of strategies, including solo and co-op variants, to create individual layers of gold to lay down the foundations of Ghost Plasm's usages. The primary and mandatory items are BadBoyHalo Heart, Rumplestiltskin's Pickaxe, Wu Know's Pickaxe, Robin Hood Hat, and optional but alternative & extremely important is Big Bad Wolf Pickaxe, especially the ultra legendary variant.

Variant 1: Robbin Hood Hat RNG. Dig 3 blocks down and immediately place a redstone block via BBH Heart on the first layer, start digging out the entire top 3 layers of the mine via BBW pickaxe and try to continuously mine the copper blocks with a Wu Know's pickaxe. Don't forget to also place the BBH Heart redstone for the next 4 layers downward. Once you've gotten all the necessary copper ore spread around the area and there are 5 redstone blocks, mine said redstone and use the Rumplestilt pickaxe to turn all the coal into gold; dig 5 layers deep. Then, once you've got a big enough area, mine 3 blocks down in the center of the gold, equip Ghost Plasm and press shift. Boom! You know created The Goofball!

Variant 2: Grumpy's Consistency. By using Grumpy's pickaxe to upgrade various blocks on the surface and using Wu Know's pickaxe, it removes the unnecessary RNG, but adds more downtime when waiting for the BBH Heart cooldowns. Nevertheless, once you've spread enough emerald ore and gotten the 5 redstone layers setup once again, you then want to hold shift, receive a secret message about muffins, mine the redstone blocks, see the "LANGUAGE" message to see the blocks reappear, the mine the redstone again. Repeat the same strategy with Rumplestilt's pickaxe, dig 3 blocks deep in the center, equip Ghost Plasm and boom! Another Goofball!

Variant 3: Gold Rush Event. While this is heavily RNG or requiring the usage of a Gold Rush event pass and has PvP enabled, it does create an absurd amount of pure gold blocks in the entire mine. Thus, it is possible with the correct place & timings, and or coordinated individuals, that you can create an absolute pure Goofball. Additionally, if you have a Goldilocks' pickaxe, you can use the ability to obliterate a huge portion of the gold & quartz to obtain as much as possible. However, if you absolutely wish to minmax, by using the BBH Heart secret muffin ability, you can time it so that the blocks that you mined (and or if other players did the same thing) will respawn right after the gold rush has commenced, but you must use the BBH Heart approximately ~6 seconds prior to the rush going to end, and the rushes in general have a 30 second window

Variant 4: The Lazy Goofball. Quite literally the laziest and fastest (in terms of consistency), and no RNG required method but still quite rewarding & amusing, especially if you have Varmetek's Furnace. This strategy involves immediately using Rumplestilt's pickaxe to dig 5 deep in various areas, digging 3 deep in the center, and turning all the gold ore into netherquartz ore. While not the most yielding, it takes the least amount of effort and time required compared to variants 1 & 2, and less RNG than 3.
